Worcester School Will Compete On GBH's High School Quiz Show

WORCESTER, MA — Whiz kids from Notre Dame Academy in Worcester will compete on the 13th season of the GBH series "High School Quiz Show," the station announced this week. Notre Dame will be one of 17 teams to compete on season 13 of the show, which will premier on Feb. 5. The schools won spots in the competition after scoring highest in a recent qualifying event with 72 schools. "'High School Quiz Show' is a fast-paced, bracketed academic competition for teams of Massachusetts high school students, produced by GBH. Aside from 'Jeopardy!,' 'High School Quiz Show' is the most popular academic quiz show on American television," GBH said in a news release.
