We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Santa Barbara area! Local commercial and residential maintenance company is seeking a full- time maintenance technician to do basic maintenance and improvements on our residential buildings. The qualified technician will interact with other maintenance technicians, vendors, property managers, and tenants. Basic knowledge of building maintenance and handyman skills are preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Skills:
- Ability to work and complete tasks by themselves with minimal supervision
- Basic understanding of building and property maintenance
- Capability to complete work orders and inspection reports
- Clean and professional
- Problem solving skills
- Adapt and follow direction well
- Good communication skills including phone, email and text
- Friendly customer service and etiquette
- Great attitude
- Vehicle is mandatory, truck and tools are a plus
Duties:
- Painting
- Light carpentry
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Drywall installation
- Basic knowledge of power tools
