Description

Have you ever fell asleep during a sitting meditation? Do you like drinking tea? If so, Tea Mindfulness may be the answer for you! Hi everyone! I'm Kiki, originally from Tokyo, Japan, now residing in Culver City. I am offering relaxing guided sessions on mindfulness and tea. This session includes: - demonstration of traditional Japanese Matcha tea rituals (simplified version) - guided tea meditation practice (with beverage of your choice) - consultation on mindfulness in everyday life I am a long-time Japanese tea practitioner (Chanoyu) and Mindfulness-Based-Stress-Reduction (MBSR) practitioner. I have expertise in Japanese cultural traditions and have conducted series of in-depth interviews to masters of Japanese rituals and traditions including a Zen monk, headmasters of multiple tea schools, Ikebana flower artists, etc. I have provided in-person and online sessions for more than 50 people from around the world including students and stuffs at Oxford University and University of London.
