Adult Cat - need home for lap cat ASAP!

Jimmy is a sweet cat that loves cuddling on a lap or curling up on a blanket. He loves attention and a good belly rub. He is about 10 years old, fixed brown tabby and is struggling with a lot of unavoidable transition in our home. Unfortunately we have yet more changes in the near future and really need to find a good home for him so he can live in peace. We’ve tried some things to help him adjust but he’s struggling with sharing his space with too many other animals (cats and dogs) and it causes him stress. He would be a perfect cat in a home where he didn’t have to compete/protect his space. Ideally, he would love a home with no other pets. May do okay in some other circumstances but not a zoo, which is basically what we have here right now. He has always been indoor cat, although he does spend some time on our deck (no stairs to yard) and enjoys that. He is not declawed but doesn’t have problems with scratching as long as there’s a post or something he can use. Please share your heart with this sweetie! We really want to find a home where he can relax and enjoy the love and attention that he deserves and enjoys.
