Still looking for musical partner(s). Is there anyone out there that can play a little lead guitar and sing a little harmony and most importantly loves Beatlesque janglepop, new and old? I’m a songwriter/guitarist/singer (early 60's) located in Morro Bay who is primarily influenced by Beatlesque power pop; folk pop, 70’s melodic rock like Tom Petty and 80’s and early 90’s alt college rock like the Replacements, Elvis Costello, XTC, Gin Blossoms and Wilco to name a few. I’d like to start out playing in a duo and maybe add from there. I'm looking for another guitar player that can do some easy harmony vocals. If you can play some lead guitar even better! (Nothing fancy - more in the style of George Harrison, Mike Campbell, or Hershel Yatovitz (Guitarist for Chris Isaak) Hoping to come up with a great set list of original tunes and some cool cover tunes and play local gigs as a duo and maybe add a bass player and drummer/percussionist down the line. I’m also into collaboration on originals and recording them. I’ve got a nice home studio with top of the line mics and Universal Audio equipment. I’m currently playing solo gigs in Morro Bay but I prefer playing and singing harmony with another guitarist. I've had both Covid vaccinations and I hope you will be vaccinated too. Thanks.
