Singer seeks: guitar, bass, drums for AIC Tribute

Description

Highly-motivated singer, looking to form an Alice in Chains tribute band. I'd say we'll be heavy in material from Facelift, Dirt, and Jar of Flies. The setlist is somewhat negotiable - I think there are standbys that we'll need to play, but other than that, I'm open. I want us to play out as soon as we're ready. My goals for the band include playing large clubs, theater shows, possibly casinos. As a singer, I don't try to precisely mimic Layne Staley's sound and vocalization. I *do* try to mimic his energy and passion for performing his songs. I'm a team player who will work hard and come prepared for rehearsals. I'm pretty chill and easy to get along with. So, what am I looking for? There's the obvious - be proficient at your instruments, care about your sound quality, be reliable & available, into the music and project...aside from that, here are a few random thoughts about what I'm looking for: - A guitarist who strives for/has that Dirt album sound. Best guitar sound I've ever heard. You MUST have a killer sound. Please be prepared to play Man in the Box properly - have a talkbox and wah, or be willing to purchase/practice/learn relatively quickly. - A bassist with that "punch you in the mouth" sound. - Drummer: see bassist requirement above. - Good vocalists - in a perfect world, we would all sing - we could really re-create a lot of cool harmonies if we all sing. Bare minimum: one of you must sing. - Please let's be relatively local to each other. I don't have a rehearsal space identified, but I would like to rehearse within 20-30 minutes from the Winchester/Woburn area. - Your sound, stage vibe, and attitude as a teammate matter most. Don't care about looks. - I'm fully vaxxed, you should be, too. If this sounds like something that you would be interested in, please reply. I'm ready to go.
