C.A.I Designs, Inc. represents a full range of luxury lines offering some of the finest designer’s furniture, lighting and accessories in the industry. We are seeking an warehouse/sales assistant for our new Troy showroom in the Michigan Design Center. The right person will be flexible in order to get the job done with the ability to be a multi tasker and have good administrative and analytical skills to stay focused on results, and is committed to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be energetic and assertive. Responsibilities: -Inventory; handle and photograph incoming inventory, tag and update tags with price changes and work with merchandiser in showroom, -Work in the CAI sales system; Uploading and applying money to orders, and uploading receipts and all documentation to orders for showroom staff. -Customer interaction assistance with designers and sales staff. -Wrapping of product for Approvals, inputting data for Approvals, and checking in product returned to make sure they are in good condition. -Help open and close the showroom each day. Turn on lights, fluff pillows, put away sales aids etc. -Phones – answer & offer assistance. -Help organize chairs, food etc. for events. -Handle vendor supplies (organize and order replacements as needed) -Keep showroom samples up to date -Misc. runs to hardware store/grocery store if needed Required: -High attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills -Ability to organize and manage time effectively under strict timelines within a fast-paced environment -Excellent phone manner/customer service -Team-Player -Knowledgeable of MS Office/computer systems -Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive can-do attitude and healthy working relationships with internal employees and external vendors -Interest in interior decorating/design a plus -Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
