Juvenile brown basilisk for rehome, comes with custom spray foamed 55g tank and tank stand if needed. Tank was previously bioactive, so there may be some stray isopods. My little dude came from a collectors home where he wasn’t taken care of. He was underweight, dehydrated, and fearful of humans as he lived in a 10 gallon tank with nowhere to get out of sight. I’ve been working with him to get him back up to weight and be chill with handling and he’s doing great! I feel as though he’s ready for a forever home. Basilisks are not beginner reptiles! My dude needs to go to a home with experience or a home with people willing to research properly so he can live his best life. If you can’t prove that you know what care he needs, he will not be going home with you. These guys are awesome lizards, also known as the “jesus lizard” because they run on water! With that being said, they are more of a display creature as opposed to a lizard that can come hang out. He is used to handling now but should really only be handled for transport and emergencies and checking up on him. They are FAST. They are also omnivorous and require a varied diet, which I’ll be happy to discuss with anyone interested! I’m asking a rehoming fee of $50 for just the basilisk. I’ll throw in the tank and stand for $150 but I’m very open to offers and negotiations on the tank! Please text with any questions or comments! Thanks!
