Our client is currently looking for a Lighting Technician. The position repairs, maintains or replaces various kinds of lighting components (lamps, ballasts, sockets, photocells, and time clocks) and systems, interior and exterior. These include high density discharge (HID), incandescent, fluorescent, and LED products. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of interior and exterior lighting systems • Working on ladders, scaffolding, or lift equipment required • Update Supervisor on all work statuses in a timely manner • Good communication skills and excellent customer service skills • Demonstrated high level of accuracy while working safely • Maintain a tidy and organized company vehicle • Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a great attitude • History of being punctual, having good work attendance, and mutual team respect QUALIFICATIONS • At least 1-year of commercial lighting experience or electrical experience, with an understanding of both traditional and new lighting technologies • At least 1-year experience working a scissor/articulation lift • Must have own hand tools • Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Electrical certifications and work experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT • Work environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust and noise Ability to work in a fast-paced shop • Ability to work on ladders up to 20 feet and work in a bucket truck up to 50 feet • Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds • Ability to follow all safety rules associated with the job Pre-employment drug screen, clean driving record, and background check is required.
