Got some free time...Amedisys Hospice is currently seeking pet companion/therapy volunteers who have a special interest in working with elderly patients suffering from a terminal illness. Has Hospice helped your family....why not give back? As a pet volunteer, you take on the role of a trusted friend who will offer the patient companionship and emotional support. Internships available. Pets are the common most request. If your pet has gone thru training or is therapy certified, we would love to have you on our team All (human) training is provided, volunteer hours and dates are flexible.
