You will need to pass a background check. No phone calls, please. Position Overview: DCI is seeking a full time Business Manager. The Business Manager is responsible for all or part of the following areas: grant compliance and management, vendor management, and enrollment support. The Business Manager’s primary responsibility is to ensure that DCI has the business systems in place to support DCI’s educational missions and enables the school to be Tier 1 Day 1. Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 (Starting salary is determined by education and years of relevant experience) Qualifications: Applicants will have a high school diploma, or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English. Excellent excel and data analysis skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in a school environment. Comfortable in a Mac environment. Able to draft and create documents and spreadsheets. Essential Attributes: Manage the application of and reimbursements from a variety of government grants, such as the SOAR, IDEA, CONAPP, HSA, and NSLP and ensure that DCI is compliant with program and funding requirements. Ensure compliance with the National School Lunch Program including but not limited to student meal administration, meal vendor management, monthly claims, and the annual submission of DCI’s NSLP application. Collaborate with the accounting firm and other staff on financial reporting, financial audit, and other accounts payable related projects. Supervise student accounts and procurement departments and collaborate with all staff to ensure students and staff have access to all resources and accounts are up to date. Ensure expenditures are properly coded and charged to appropriate budgets or grants. Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services. Develop RFPs and make recommendations for vendor selection. Interact with, monitor and select service vendors and contractors. Responsible for Epicenter updates and follow-up. Be the point-of-contact for PCSB & OSSE newsletter. Ensure timely submission of documents due on multiple reporting platforms. Be a primary contact with PCSB to ensure the school can achieve high rankings in all areas of the PMF and is compliant with respect to all member schools. Oversee and ensure smooth operations of facility staff, helping to manage, schedule, and ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines. Support student enrollment efforts, including sorting/confirming online applications, and re-enrollment packets. Respond to application related inquiries. Support the DCI reception team with acceptance & waitlist management, residency verification, and enrollment audit.
