Position Overview: DCI is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator for a 12 month contract. The Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the school wide COVID protocols and requirements for the DCI community. This position will not be renewed past the 12 month appointment. Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 (Starting salary is determined by education and years of relevant experience) Qualifications: Applicants will have a high school diploma, or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English. Excellent excel and data analysis skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in a school environment. Comfortable in a Mac environment. Able to draft and create documents and spreadsheets. Essential Attributes: Health and Safety Trainings Development, support, and deliver health and safety trainings to students, staff, and families. Develop and collect documentation related to health and safety requirements including agreements, test results, forms, etc. Maintain system to quickly determine who needs training and who doesn’t Conduct follow-ups and audits to ensure implementation of health and safety protocols and practices COVID Exposure, Reporting, and Communication In the case of a COVID positive, determine who may have had exposure Lead and coordinate communication protocols Report cases and engage in followup calls/emails as required by OSSE and DC Health COVID Testing Organize and coordinate weekly COVID testing logistics Vaccinations Organize and coordinate summer vaccination clinic logistics Additional duties as assigned Faculty and Staff Development/Benefits: DCI is committed to the principles of servant leadership and to providing faculty and staff with the resources and training they need to provide an excellent education experience for every student and family.
