Position Overview: The HR Administrative Assistant works closely with the Director of Human Resources and the HR Coordinator to support DCI’s staff and oversees a Team of Instructional Aides across Middle and High School. Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 7am - 3:30pm Salary Range: Starting salary is determined by education and years of relevant experience. Salaries range from $34,000 - $43,000. Qualifications: Applicants with an associate's Degree or higher strongly preferred. Strong reading and writing skills in both languages. Prior school administrative assistant experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexible mindset and ability to prioritize tasks. Knowledge of confidentiality requirements. Positive, proactive, and independent problem solver. Comfortable in a Mac environment. Ability to draft and create documents and spreadsheets. Preferred Skills: “Team player” attitude desired with customer focus. Intellectually curious, paying high attention to details, and ability to problem solve and look for solutions independently. Innovative and resourceful; actively seeks opportunities to improve processes and procedures. Responsibilities: Supervising all instructional aides Coordinate substitute teachers, when needed, for classes Managing and organizing class coverage Substitute teaching as the sole instructor as necessary Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Ability to draft and create documents and spreadsheets. Ability to lead and participate in HR projects as needed, including cross-functional and business initiatives Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions. Establishing and maintaining strong communication with students, teachers, and parents and family members Providing assistance on various administrative tasks Embrace French, Spanish, and Chinese cultures by leading and participating in cultural activities for faculty and students. Commitment to environmentally sustainable business practices. Other duties as assigned.
