Our (mechanical) auto repair shop has grown quickly in the last year plus. With Covid, we were not able to keep our recruiting up to meet the demand a number of times. We have multiple openings including a lead technician (supervising 4 to 5 techs) and 3 openings for lube and tire techs who also are capable of being more than that. We attempt to promote from within and have done so for years by replacing our "'B" and "C" type techs as they leave or are promoted. Within the last three years we have promoted 3 lower level techs plus a heavy line mechanic, after training and getting experience, to higher level jobs.
