Family in Beverly Farms seeks Household Assistant in lieu of rent and utilities to help with 8-10hrs/week of errands. Reimbursement for work in excess of 10 hours per week: Overtime hours @ $20/hr. Expense Reimbursement: fuel costs for errands with personal car Private apartment and basic utilities included: separate entrance, newly renovated full 1 bedroom with full kitchen, bathroom, and living space. Below is a list of responsibilities that occur on a somewhat regular basis – other errands do arise so flexibility is appreciated! Daily or as needed: Newspaper – bring in if we are away PO Pick up daily when family is home Dog care: walk dogs once per day on week days as weather permits and weekends when dog sitting; let out and feed when we are not home (weekdays: let out in early morning, feed breakfast, let out during lunch break, walk late afternoon (dinner at 5pm) and let out in evenings before bedtime; invite to apartment when family is away for TV time!) Weekly: Recycling—take out on Wed mornings and return container Wed afternoon Grocery shop (preferably on Tuesday and Friday afternoons) and help with food lists Other errands: e.g., CVS, Fedex shipping; Staples Overnight dog care as needed Dry cleaning drop off/pick up as needed Take trash out for Saturday morning pick up (just outside garage door) Monthly: Poland Springs Schedule – take out empty bottles (occasionally restock liter bottles in fridge) Prescriptions/ Pharmacy (2-3 times a month) K9, Heart Guard and charging of collars for dog House Sitting Pick up cleaning supplies at Walmart, etc. and other miscellaneous stops at the mall, Apple store, etc. Occasionally: Assist with Vehicle maintenance scheduling, pick up/drop off Airport drop-offs/pick-ups and drop offs in Boston condo if possible Seasonally: Watering of outside plants/flower boxes/ help with porch furniture/pool Miscellaneous projects that both family and you agree to Help with snow removal Please submit your resume via email and someone will be in touch should you fit our needs!
