We have a few gorgeous babies who will be ready in the next 1-2 weeks. (When they are atleast 3") fee is $80 each. They have been raised from eggs (origin shipped from Alaska). They come from extremely well documented lines and HETS. Raised on 100% High quality live feeds and being transitioned over to pellets. We have both GFP ( Glows in the dark under blue/black light) and non GFP available for pet. We believe in responsible husbandry, ownership and care of the Species and are a signer of the Axolotl Husbandry code of Ethics, and are recognized as such. ( No backyard genetic swap, inbreeding or unknown pedigrees especially important since there is a very small gene pool and and most undocumented Axolotl are severely inbred) This species requires fresh water temperatures in the 62-68 range (preferably towards the lower end). Babies should be in a aquarium without any substrate until around 6" in legnth in which super fine pool sand or tiles can be added. They should not be placed in aquariums with fish, unless it is for feeding purposes with feeder safe species. Additionally they should not be placed in Aquariums with Axolotl that are smaller or larger than them. They require a tank to be fully cycled PRIOR to being put into it. If you do not have one ready using a 5 gallon clear plastic toter "tub" can be used with regular water changes until your tank is fully cycled. In addition we offer LIVE BLACKWORMS to feed if you should wish to continue them on a live diet for additional fee.
