Hello Bird Lovers, I have an older male canary looking for a new home. I really want him to go to someone who is knowledgeable about birds and especially canaries. They need fresh bathing and drinking water every day, green foods such as kale, sprouts, broccoli, and lettuce every day, and mashed hard boiled egg in addition to their regular canary seeds. Also as large a cage as possible, at least 2 feet long, to enable appropriate exercise and fly space. Most people keep birds in cages that are far too small. He is in good health and is just coming through the molt, but once completed, he does sing beautifully.
