Works, drives, and walks over all types of terrain (grass, gravel, ditches) in and around construction zones and residential, commercial, industrial and rural areas in all types of weather conditions. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. •Utilizes and maintains various company issued locate tools and equipment for proper use, storage, and upkeep •Utilizes maps / blueprints to interpret facilities to determine the presence of underground utilities •Completes all work in an organized, timely manner, within standard operating procedure •Removes and replaces manhole lids •Uses laptop computer or other electronic devices to receive and document status of excavation notices •Communicates effectively with supervision, operational support, and clients •Performs project quality control •Performs all duties assigned in a SAFE manner on private and public work areas Other Duties/Responsibilities •Performs other duties as assigned Experience: •Experience locating underground utilities a plus but not required •An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: •Possession of a valid State Driver’s License is required •Candidates must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, a Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated physical as a requirement of the job and pass a pre-employment drug screen Education or Formal Training: •HS Diploma or GED For more information on our benefits, click the link below: *Peak Utilities Services Group and Subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, Minority/Woman/Veteran/Disabled.
