We are seeking a customer-service minded Auto Body Damage Estimator to join our small but busy, independent auto collision repair shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in the auto body industry in a relaxed business environment. Signing bonus of $1000.00 after 60 days and another $1000.00 after 90 days. Responsibilities include: • Assessing auto body damage and determining repair needs. • Developing and writing auto body damage estimates. • Preparing work orders and ordering parts. • Communicating and coordinating repair costs with insurance companies. • Monitoring progress of repairs. • Accurately and efficiently updating customers on the repair progress. • Maintaining customer rapport at all times. Required Qualifications: • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently in a fast-paced work environment. • Willingness to pursue ongoing education with I-Car, at no expense to you. • A valid state driver's license. • Strong communication and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of DRP guidelines • Knowledge of CCC estimating software program.
