JOB SUMMARY The job of Window Cleaner is a unique job. People who enjoy the outdoors or like working outside find they are a natural at it. Being a window cleaner provides a sense of satisfaction for a job well-done each day. Those who take on this role are thrilled to provide outstanding customer service to others. Especially in times of a pandemic, Window Technicians have limited interaction with customers but have the opportunity to brighten peoples’ day by a job well done. This job includes washing windows using brushes, sponges, and detergent, then dry the glass using squeegees and cloths, and buff them to a shine. However, a successful Technician will enjoy working outside, including inclement weather. In addition, Technicians must be able to work at heights on top of a ladder and be able to be comfortable reaching, bending, and having a good sense of balance and manual dexterity. To ensure a successful career, Technicians will receive on the job training a few hours each day to ensure having procedures explained. QUALIFICATIONS · Have a high attention to detail · Enjoy working alone and as part of a team · Enjoy seeing your hard work efforts daily · Are a stellar team player and love to take charge · Use critical thinking to stay on track to meet goals and deadlines · Love to be outdoors and constantly work with your hands · Take charge of tasks without being asked to do so · Strong work ethic, professionalism, and good judgment · Enjoy constantly learn and improving practices of your team · Are always willing to go above and beyond for clients and customers Responsibilities · Cleaning windows/screens to company standards · Assist in the fabrication, assembly, screening, and installation of screens · Maintain a positive and constructive attitude with all clients · Maintain and follow daily customer route sheets · Report on the status of each client at the end of each day Job Requirements · Handle multiple tasks at one time and meet the required timeline · Work successfully as part of a team, while under pressure · Work varied hours/days based on business needs · Able to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision · Be able to communicate clearly and effectively · Must be able to measure accurately · Must be able to use basic hand tools · Must be able to follow instructions accurately · Must keep work site clean at all times · Must follow safety procedures at all times · Be able to pass background and drug screening Physical Requirements · Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds · Ability to work on ladders and roofs Education/Experience/Linguistic Ability High School Diploma or equivalent Good verbal and written skills in English
