Skilled Laborer Summary of Position The skilled laborer position is an entry level position that will assist day-to-day tasks on all active Idaho projects for Cedar and Sage Homes. Some basic trade knowledge is preferred. This position will report directly to a Site Supervisor/Manager covering a wide range of tasks from site clean up to landscaping. Qualifications & Requirements Some basic construction knowledge is preferred High school diploma or GED Ability to work physically all day, 40 hrs/ week Ability to take direction and work independently from time to time Light carpenter and drywall skills are a plus and the use of basic hand and power tools. Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license Typical job tasks General site clean up and maintenance Pickup framing- based on skill level Construction cleanup- interior cleanup and punch-list items Promote and maintain site safety- hand rails, fall protection, etc Snow/ice removal Landscaping, hand digging, underground utility trenching Compensation Pay depending on experience - Starting at $20/hour Benefits are available for all full time employees (medical, dental, vision, PTO and vacation)
