Please join us on October 8, 2021 for the first annual Rotary North Coast Ethics in Business Awards Luncheon. The North Coast Ethics in Business Awards Program will honor those organizations who have demonstrated ethical business practice in the workplace, the marketplace, and the community. Four recipients of these awards will have, by act and example, gone beyond the expected to achieve excellence in ethical business practices. ABOUT NORTH COAST ETHICS IN BUSINESS AWARD The planning phase for the Rotary Ethics in Business Award’s program started in early 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The District wide 2021 Awards luncheon will be the inaugural event for this important community award. The Ethics in Business Award was the vision of 2020-2021 District Governor Doug Johnson, who strongly believes that Rotary’s “Core Values” and their “Four Way Test” are closely aligned with the concept of Ethics in Business. The North Coast Ethics in Business Awards Program will honor those organizations who have demonstrated ethical business practice in the workplace, the marketplace, and the community. four recipients of these awards will have, by act and example, gone beyond the expected to achieve excellence in ethical business practices. Nominations for Awards are solicited from the public and the Award recipient is chosen by a Blue Ribbon Committee of North Coast business leaders. Customers, employees, friends and other stakeholders who have witnessed exceptional ethical behavior are asked to nominate companies and organizations at: [email protected] The annual awards are coordinated by a committee of local business leaders and members of Rotary District 5130.
