*****Short Hiring Process including an on-site maintenance evaluation***** We are searching for an experienced and self-directed maintenance professional with strong customer service and problem solving skills. The person will manage maintenance, rental turns and tenant communications for a portfolio of south and west side Chicago multi-family and single-family units. - Resolve a variety of maintenance issues, including HVAC, electrical, flooring and plumbing. - Manage vendors for complex maintenance needs. - Provide point of contact for tenants on maintenance requests - Turn over rentals quickly and to a high level of quality - Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs inspections - Track work orders using property management software - Post notices on tenant doors and provide point of contact for tenants on collections REQUIREMENTS: - Employee must have and keep a reliable insured vehicle, valid driver’s license and basic tools - Access to reliable automobile, cell phone, and valid driver’s license with insurance - Honest and able to work in a self-directed, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight - Night and weekend emergency work as needed BENEFITS: - High quality and affordable Employee Health, Dental and Vision - 401(k) w/ Employer Match - College Savings Plan - Commuter Card - PTO and vacation days If interested submit the following: - Resume - Are you available to work nights and weekends due to emergency work as needed? - How many years of residential maintenance experience do you have? - Do you have a driver's license and an insured vehicle? - Desired start date? - Desired salary?
