DSI Energy Solutions is hiring immediately for Solar Laborers/Installers to help with the construction of a large utility scale solar facility located in Lincoln, IL. DSI is looking for team members that have a proven commitment to safety, are accustomed to working outdoors, and can be committed to a full-time schedule. Pay/Schedule $15-$18 per hour $100 per diem for days worked if you live outside of 60 mile radius from jobsite (proof of residency required) Working 6 days a week for 10 hours each day (at least 60 hours per week) Key Responsibilities • Maintain a clean job site and shake out material to the field • Bolt up clamps for solar panels • Hoist torque tubes into position and align/secure torque tubes • Set drive motors • Install of dampeners and linkage between drive motors • Set/install solar modules • Tighten of bolts to the proper torque specifications • Receive/stock materials and maintain accurate inventory • Quality control for the scope of work • Maintain tools used for installation in proper working condition • Follow safety policies and procedures • General cleanup of materials and debris Qualifications • Experience with solar/construction projects preferred • Experience using a torque wrench • Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds • Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward positions/confined spaces • Unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception • Self-motivated with the ability to work well with others • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency • Must have reliable transportation to the job site • Age 18+ • Must pass a 10 panel Drug Test **If you are interested in this position, please email your resume that lists your previous solar experience or related work experience to [email protected]**
