Stop flagging! Im not asking 2600!! Read the post in its entirety! This isnt some scam, i cant handle a dog of this size anymore he over powers me just trying to walk him. I need to rehome him to the right kind of home! Alpha is a 2 year old up to date on shots (arlington animal hospital dr mitzner) i had purchased him as a pup from zoorama for over $2600 with AKC papers and all that. Im currently looking for his folder of paperwork i had found it not too long ago and misplaced it again. Alpha has oddball eyes one blue one brown. Hes a gorgeous BIG dog however he has his issues and by issues i mean cats! He can absolutely not be in a home with cats. He lives up to his name and wants to be the Alpha male! He loves to be outdoors a home with a fenced in yard or yard with dog run and kennel is ideal- heck a farm would even be ideal for him. He needs a lot of room to run. These dogs cant be apartment dogs. You have to take him to parks and trails. He has a sister here (female husky) that he plays well with but due to his size he can be a little rough with her at times. He is not good with commands other than sit stay and lay down. He really should be the only pet unless you have another large dog for him to play with. I do not recommend a house with children at least not small children as hes too big and hyperactive and i wouldnt feel safe placing him with small children. He does not bite thats not what makes me say no small children its his size and weight and the fact that hes hyper and needs lots of attention. You should really research the breed before making a commitment. Theyre beautiful dogs but they shed a lot and need a lot of exercise. He is crate trained as well and will stay there for 4-5 hours tops if necessary. Hes very good about telling you when hes gotta go to the bathroom and should be walked within 30 min of his meals. He loves beef and salmon dog food and likes chicken and country stew. He can not eat low budget foods or he will have the runs he has to eat wellness or holistic brand dry food or benefuls anything else upsets his stomach. He does eat home cooked food and tolerates that very well - chicken and rice or steak and veggies things of that nature. Please bring a leash with you when you pick him up as we only have a outdoor lead right now his sister ate the leash. He does very well with car rides and will sit and look out the window asking a $500 negotiable adoption fee. I will do my best to find his papers otherwise you can contact the vet or zoorama and give them his info and they can print you copies 646-399-33-14 is my number
