Best Bet Line Handlers provides support services to the Maritime Industry works out of Port of Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi Harbor, and Ingleside, Texas. We are hiring deckhands. Experience helpful but will train the right candidate. Responsibilities: o Assist Captains in mooring and unmooring of vessels. o Assist Captains with cleaning and maintaining boats o Maintain clean company vehicles and equipment o Maintain grounds (taking out the trash, keeping the yard clean, and restrooms cleaned daily, etc.) o Live-in close quarters with others o Will ensure cabin and living quarters are clean and maintained to company standards o Will assist with loading and offloading cargo, fuel, water transfers, and passenger transfers o Work as directed by the captain VALID Driver’s License preferred, but will hire the right candidate if only has an ID Must pass DOT drug test, DOT physical & background check Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must have TWIC card Must be reliable and punctual Salary: $140 per day plus $15 per day per job (average 3 jobs a day) Applications accepted between 9:00 – 4:30. Except for Lunch break 12:00 to 1:00.
