Join us for a community meeting (limited seating) to discuss a proposal to rename Montrose Parkway in honor of Reverend Josiah Henson. Please join Montgomery County Councilmember Hans Riemer (At-large) to discuss his proposal to rename Montrose Parkway in honor of Reverend Josiah Henson. The agenda will feature a tour of the museum beginning at 5:00 pm with the meeting at 6:00 pm and is expected to include guest speakers to discuss the life of Rev. Henson and details of the proposed name change. Due to covid protocols, seating is limited and RSVPs are required. Masks will be required and attendees must be vaccinated. Parking is available at the Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center, 5900 Executive Blvd., North Bethesda, about two blocks away. There is limited handicap parking at the Museum.
