Free Holiday Concert at Christmas Town Join us for this concert featuring the Grand Mesa a Cappella, a wonderful group of women who love to sing in good ol’ a cappella...barbershop style! Four-part harmonizing at its finest with a lot of fun too! This concert is scheduled to be held outdoors near museum's Austin Depot. However we do have contingency plans in the event of inclement weather. Grand Mesa A Cappella is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International – a non-profit organization of approximately 30,000 members in choruses and quartets worldwide. This organization is committed to advancing the musical arts of barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance. And we are THRILLED to have them join us at Christmas Town for this very special concert performance. About Christmas Town Get in spirit of the holidays with lights, entertainment and our very special holiday marketplace at Pioneer Town's "Christmas Town" event on Saturdays and Sundays from November 27th through December 19th. Hours are 4pm to 700pm. Admission is Free! Hot coffee, tea and apple cider will be available for purchase at the Welcome Center / Gift Shop, and the Lizard Head Saloon will be serving up hot chocolate, hot mulled wine, beer, wine and some spirits. The 2021 commemorative, limited-edition Christmas Town ornament is available with a $50 donation to the Surface Creek Valley Historical Society. Sale of these ornaments helps cover costs for this event including lighting and decorations. Only 50 of these delightful ornaments have been created. Ornaments may be purchased in advance by clicking the registration button above, or by sending a check for $50 to SCVHS at P O Box 906, Cedaredge, CO 81413. Remaining ornaments will be available for sale in the Welcome Center / Gift Shop at Christmas Town beginning on November 27th. Special thanks to the crew and DMEA for help with decorating!
