Join us for a special Art Talk celebrating local, Latinx children's book authors! A free book will be provided to the first 50 participants. Bring your kids for a special children's book read-along celebrating local, Latinx children's book authors! Hear how their stories came to be, and help inspire your children to read and write stories of their own. The event will start with a book reading of Courageous Camila by authors Naibe Reynoso and Giselle Carrillo, followed by a panel discussion with Assemblymember Rendon and local authors Argelia Atilano, Naibe Reynoso, and Ernesto Cisneros. The first 50 registered participants to attend will receive a free copy of Courageous Camila.
