Fikes Pest Control is a locally owned, Indianapolis based business. We are dedicated to the training and success of our employees to ensure the best service for our clients. We are currently in need of a FULL-TIME pest control technician to service our commercial and residential customers in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Job Responsibilities: • Inspect properties to identify infestation type and determine the appropriate treatment • Identify pests: mice, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitos, bed bugs, etc. • Respond to customer’s calls and questions • Advise customers on possible treatment options and cost • Apply suitable pesticides. Set mechanical traps and place bait Job Skills: • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid drivers license • Clean background check and drug test • Must be at least 18 years old • Ability to work independently and drive for long periods of time • Physical stamina to stand, walk, crouch, and climb for long periods of time in all weather conditions • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers • Previous pest control experience is preferred Fikes Pest Control technicians do not sell or up sell to our clients. This position reports directly to the owner and office manager. Technicians are provided comprehensive training and a company vehicle. Pay is based on commissions per job performed. First year pay averages 45-55k! Experienced technicians make 75k-85k.
