Four Ellis County chambers have joined forces to create a vendor show like none other. Get your vendor booth or grab your ticket TODAY! The four Ellis County chambers of commerce (Ennis, Midlothian, Red Oak and Waxahachie) have joined forces to create a new vendor show. The event will be held on Sat, March 14 from 10 am to 3 pm at the Ellis County Expo Center. It will feature approximately 200 vendors, live entertainment, a kids zone, food trucks and more.Planning for the new event started in September at a meeting of the Chamber executives. According to Sandy King, CEO of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce, “The four of us met with a representative of the North Texas Commission to review the recent Legislative Session. Afterward, we had a discussion of how we might work together to benefit our Members - and the ‘Ellis County Market’ was born!” Clint Woodward, President of the Red Oak Chamber of Commerce, added, “Since planning began, we have mentioned this new concept to our Board of Directors and other Chamber Members. They really like the idea of a true county-wide collaboration that brings them an opportunity to reach potential new customers from all parts of Ellis County.” According to Ennis Chamber President Jeannette Patak, “One of the unexpected perks to come from organizing this county-wide event is the sharing of information, resources and best practices between the four organizations.” She continued, “The planning of this event has been a lot of fun and I’ve enjoyed getting to know the professional staff at the other Ellis County chambers.” Laura Terhune, CEO of the Midlothian Chamber, said, “We already had an annual Spring vendor show on our calendar, so we have cancelled it. Instead, we encourage all of our past vendors and sponsors to participate in this new event that we believe will be even larger.” Terhune added, “We are pleased that Baylor Scott & White Medical Center has signed up as a Presenting Sponsor of the event and Access Self-Storage is sponsoring one of the areas of the event.” King agreed, “We’ve developed sponsorship opportunities from $500 to $5,000 so there are a variety of promotional options to fit every budget and marketing plan.
