The Collective invites you to celebrate its eighth annual Coats & Cocktails signature event to raise awareness for those in need. OUR PURPOSE Coats & Cocktails is a coat drive to collect outerwear for women, men and especially children during the holiday season. We invite you to bring new or gently used coats and outerwear for donation to Dallas Life Foundation, Dallas Independent School District and Austin Street Shelter through the Soup for the Soul Event. Although all donations are welcome, THERE IS A GREAT DEMAND FOR CHILDREN'S COATS. With your help, our goal this year is to surpass the 650 coats we collected last year. In addition to your coat donation, a portion of ticket proceeds will be reserved for donation. **Please Note: This event is expected to sell out. Purchase your tickets now to guarantee admission. We will only sell tickets at the door if we are not at capacity. ** BE SOCIAL WITH US Begin the evening at our Red Carpet Reception . Table Guests will be greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and enjoying delicious hors-d'oeuvres while they last in the lounge. Take advantage of our interactive Photo Booth and instantly share your experience with your social network (please tag us in all photos/selfies using #CoatsAndCocktailsDFW). PARTY WITH US At 10pm, our musical maestro for the evening, Takes us on a musical journey providing the perfect backdrop for an evening of good music, dancing, cocktails, and philanthropy. Guests can look forward to pleasant surprises as the night progresses. OUR PHILANTHROPY We believe in giving back to the community. There is no better time than the holiday season and we look forward to sharing this night of giving with you. ATTIRE DRESS CODE: COCKTAIL For guys, this dress code calls for a dark suit and tie. For women, short dresses that are party-ready. When in doubt, wear a little black dress and dress it up with fun jewelry—or, if you’d rather wear color, opt for something bright and feminine. Foolproof Outfit: A Little Black Dress for women and a Suit/Blazer/Slacks for men. PARKING Valet parking will be available. Additionally, there will ample self-parking options nearby.
