The Rowan EDC will be holding its Annual Meeting at the City Tavern, located at 113 E Fisher St. in Salisbury, on Thursday, January 27th, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The annual meeting will feature Jay Garner, president and founder of Garner Economics, LLC, an economic development and site location consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, Ga. Garner is a leader and innovator in the economic development profession, having served for 40 years as both an award-winning economic developer, Chamber of Commerce CEO, and site location professional. His firm assists clients throughout the world on a wide variety of projects, offering innovative, yet real-world solutions to achieve success. In addition to the keynote presentation by Garner, the annual meeting will bring together leaders from across Rowan County to network and celebrate the successes of the past year while looking forward to the promise and potential of the coming one. The mission of the Rowan EDC is to promote and facilitate business retention and strategic business growth in Rowan County, N.C.
