Citadel Outlets will be providing a safe space for children with special needs at their annual Santa Cares event on December 5 and 12! In an effort to embrace inclusion, Citadel Outlets will be providing a safe space for children with special needs at their annual Santa Cares event on December 5 and 12! Citadel Outlets will welcome families and their special needs children to a photo environment supportive of their sensory, physical, and developmental needs. While there, children can meet and interact with Santa according to their comfort level. While the Christmas season is usually associated with a multitude of behavioral triggers, Citadel Outlets will reduce their impact by turning down overhead music, turning off the lights that usually adorn Santa’s cottage and eliminating the need to stand in line by using a reservation system. While registration for the event is recommended to secure a shorter wait time, walk-ins are also accepted.
