Dog: Husky Mix Age: approximately 1 year Color: Sable (golden, brown, gray, white) Eyes: Blue Sex: Female Microchipped: No Spay/Neutered: Yes (Spayed) Updated shots: Yes Rehoming fee: $100 (Will be donated to local Spay/Neuter fund) Stormie, nickname Storm is in search of a loving, active forever family. She is a lovable 1 year old husky, who like her namesake, will take your life by storm in the best way possible! We are, sadly, looking to re-home her ASAP. It is not an easy decision to make since we love her to pieces, but our lifestyle/personal changes are not adequate for her needs. She is a cutie who leads a very active husky lifestyle by playing with her favorite toys/stuffies, runnings through the fields, and roughhousing with our older male husky. She gets along well with her larger doggy friends and my cat while supervised. Storm loves a good road trip with the humans and eating out at Lazy dog! Her training does have room for improvement: her skills include sit, lay down, stay, go(run), come, heel, gentle (when taking treat from hand), off (the couch or bed) and kennel (enter the kennel). When playing with toys she loves to play catch and tug with both people and dogs alike: we tell her "drop" to drop the toy in her mouth. Practice makes perfect, so we hope to find a family with the patience to continue keeping up her skills. Storm is a very smart dog and looks to please her humans: a treat or two or three don't hurt either! She is quite a character that guards her home/people, looks for love and attention, is silly and mischievous. I do not recommend a home with small children or small dogs/animals. (She has very little/no exposure to them) Her rehoming fee is $100 and this will be donated to the Spay and Neuter fund for the local husky group I am apart of.
