Bring a broken item to repair and learn in fun environment!
This is an open repair event. Bring any item you wish!
What is a repair cafe?
A repair cafe is a community meeting space where people can bring items to be fixed for free. It is also a space to learn how to repair the items, socialize, network and volunteer to help others and reduce waste.
What should I expect at this event?
Once you get to the event, we'll have you sign in and we'll connect you with a repairer to help you fix your item. We will work with you to figure out how to fix your item and teach you how to repair it.
Some items cannot be repaired easily, but we will teach you what we know and learn together regardless! Simple items will have a higher success rate than complex ones.
Where should I park?
There is a lot of construction downtown that can make getting to Xerocraft confusing. There is a dirt parking lot across from Xerocraft that you are allowed to park in. We recommend entering the lot from Franklin St. You can also make a U-turn on 6th St. if approaching from the east.
How can I get involved?
To volunteer, email [email protected]! We are looking for people of all skill levels to be repairers. If you'd like to help us organize events or help with special projects, we are looking for organizers as well!
I don't see any more tickets available!
We set a cap to keep the crowds low due to COVID-19. If you get a ticket, please be sure to show up or release your ticket so others can come! If there are no tickets by the time event rolls around, stay tuned for our next event by following us on Facebook and Instagram @tucsonrepaircafe.
