Press release from the City of West Palm Beach: 11/12/2021 9:44 AM CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ENGINEERING CLOSURES Banyan Blvd. between Sapodilla Ave. and Quadrille Blvd. (Monday, November 15, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 6:00 a.m., and Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until Wednesday, November 17, 2021, 6:00 a.m.): Road closed for construction of streetscape project. Local traffic only. North and southbound traffic on Tamarind Ave. and Quadrille Blvd. will be maintained. Intersection of Rosemary Ave. and 2nd St. (Monday, November 15, 2021, through Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. daily): Motorists should expect slow traffic for road construction near and within the intersection.  Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.  Tamarind Ave. between Banyan Blvd. and 7th St. (through Summer 2022): Local traffic only. The road is closed for underground utility installation. The entrance ramp will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Sunday night, November 7, 2021, for a temporary barrier wall installation.Road closures: Motorists will be detoured via the westbound Okeechobee Blvd. to I-95 southbound entrance ramp via a U-turn movement just east of Australian Ave. Signage will be in place to assist motorists. Okeechobee Blvd. south sidewalk between Church St. and Tamarind Ave. (through Spring 2022.) Sidewalk closure: Sidewalk closed so crews can safely widen eastbound Okeechobee Blvd. for an additional southbound turn lane onto I-95.
