Press release from the Town of Shrewsbury: November 3, 2021 Vaccines for children ages 5-11 are now approved. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was authorized by the CDC for use in children ages 5-11 on November 2, 2021. Some appointments are now available to be made with your child's health care provider and appointments at hundreds of other sites will soon be available on VaxFinder.mass.gov.   Multiple other vaccine manufacturers are currently developing COVID-19 vaccines for children under 12 years old. Help protect your whole family by getting yourself and your children ages 5-11 vaccinated against COVID-19.  This fact sheet tells you more about the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
