We will consider candidates that have a stable work history, a proven previous work attendance history, and an aptitude to be trained on the processes outlined below. *** PLEASE NOTE: Starting pay for this position will be $14/hr. There will be opportunities for multiple subjective pay raises provided the individual hired proves his/her abilities in due time. *** RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the construction, assembly, and customization of interior and exterior decor or specialty building products. Utilize various power and hand tools (cordless drills, pneumatic tools, staple guns, etc…) in the production and customization process. Be comfortable working in a construction/assembly-type environment. Have the ability to see increases in pay based upon an individual’s ability to learn and grow with the company. REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be able to accurately read a tape measure and possess fundamental mathematical skills. Prior assembly or trade-related experience is highly desired. This could include fabrication, construction, remodeling, wood working, carpentry, machine operation, etc... and/or some type of assembly-type experience in a production or manufacturing-related environment. Have prior experience operating basic hand and power tools. Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have a solid track record for attendance in previous positions. Must be able to do physical-related work. Possess the ability to work with their hands and be on their feet during work hours. Possess the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Any previous construction, assembly, or shop experience is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
