Davenport Man Killed Crashing Into Back Of Truck: Troopers

DAVENPORT, FL — A car crash into the back of a truck killed a 33-year-old Davenport man Monday morning on U.S. Highway 27 Monday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said. The victim did not stop behind the truck that had stopped at the stop light on U.S. Highway 27 and Sanders Road at 4:27 a.m., troopers said. He crashed into the truck's trailer and died at the crash location, according to investigators. The driver of the truck did not experience any injuries. *Florida Highway Patrol does not release the names of victim's because of Marsy's Law.
