Hello, my name is Dave and and I recently moved to Montgomery Alabama and I have created and am building a new professional rock music concert touring company here in Montgomery. I'm seeking five rock musicians to work with me doing a local house band gig until show is concert ready to present to the public. In the meantime house band work will be at a place that holds 1,200 people and will perform twice a month every other weekend. Cover price is low but that will guarantee larger audiences and business owner and I agree that a weekend will easily generate $16,000 per weekend so everyone in the band will be paid well. I'm not one of these clown ego-trip band leaders that tells everyone that well I put this together and if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have a job so I deserve more than you...no no no and again no...that's not how I work. If you are willing to put in the time and effort necessary to create a quality performance to present to the public then everyone is paid the same amount of money I'm paid and after paying the business owner his cut then everything else is divided equally among all the band members with the exception of the 5% mandatory off the top to put in the band equipment maintenance account so if something goes wrong with your equipment the expense does not come out of your pocket to get it repaired or replaced and the maintenance account will pay for replacement strings. drumheads, drumsticks, etc., and other basic items that are required to do the work that wear out on a regular basis. The house band job is preparation for the touring work and concerts performed during touring will be primarily composed of original Progressive Hard Rock arrangements with a few innovative covers so if you have composed complete originals and would like an opportunity to have them worked up and performed then this might be your opportunity. In order to have music prepared as quickly as possible for the house band job, the majority of the music in the beginning will be covers that either everyone is already familiar with or can familiarize themselves with it easily so that we can start working the house job as quickly as possible and then when all of the songs are ready to do the house job then we will start phasing out some of the covers and replacing them with original material. I'm an older cat and I am a lifelong professional career touring concert rock musician and I've been doing this since 1974 so I know what I'm doing and I know what works and I know what absolutely does not work and I won't waste my time doing anything that won't work..and for anyone who may wonder where I'm coming from with regard to this issue, this is a job and this is what I do for work and this is what I do to make a living and this is absolutely not nor has it ever been nor will it ever be a get high on the road party just to have fun enjoying a buzz..nuff said bout that.
