Press release from the City of Roanoke: November 8, 2021 ROANOKE, VA – Underground utility work to begin on Friday, November 5th, for Salem Avenue between 3rd St SW and 4th St SW. During construction, Salem Avenue will be closed from 7:00am to 5:30pm, and traffic detoured to adjacent streets. The closure will be conducted in 3 phases: 11/5-11/15, 11/15-11/24, and 12/6-12/16.
