HARLEM, NY — Four men were shot while they stood on a Harlem street corner Monday evening, according to police. The quadruple shooting happened around 8:15 p.m., as the group stood on West 141st Street and Malcolm X Boulevard — reportedly in front of the bodega on the northwest corner. The victims, whose ages range between 20 and 23, were shot in the thigh, arm, leg and rear end. The gunshots were reportedly fired from a passing vehicle, but an NYPD spokesperson was unable to confirm this. As police officers drove to the scene of the shooting, they encountered a car driving recklessly nearby. After stopping the vehicle, they discovered that the driver and its two passengers had all been shot and were en route to the hospital, the spokesperson said. The fourth victim was found by police at the scene, the New York Post reported. All four victims were expected to survive. The victims are not cooperating with a police investigation, according to the NYPD, saying only that they were talking on the street when someone approached and shot them. "They're not saying anything," a police spokesperson said.
