RoadSafe Traffic Systems is one of the largest Traffic Control companies in the United States with over 60 branch locations nationwide. **** We are currently hiring Flagger 2 to join our team in the Huntington, WV area **** NO experience required - we will train!! MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE. Work with the Traffic Control Department at work sites to direct motorists by flagging them away from worker activities, moving equipment, oncoming traffic and perform duties listed below.. Set-up signs, cones, etc. around work areas to divert traffic. Must be comfortable driving full size pick up trucks with trailer - will be placing message boards and arrow boards at different locations as needed. Without Supervision must be able to set up and perform flagger position at job site based on site plan and or contractor directions Generally, works under the Supervision of Project Manager, TCT, TCS or maybe assigned to work independently Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures All other duties as assigned * Must be reliable and have reliable transportation to and from the office/yard * Traveling required --- must have the flexibility to travel to out of town jobs - requires hotel stay - company paid and $30/per day per diem. * This position is a safety sensitive position - must be able to work that involves standing for long periods of times, work in varying weather conditions, be ready to work for emergency type jobs. Some weekend work is possible. * Experience is a plus, but we will train if qualified.
