I am a 29 year old man, paralyzed from the chest down from an accident. I am looking for an in-home caregiver to help me get ready in the mornings 3-4 times a week.
No experience needed. I'm just looking for someone who is reliable. You will be paid well to make the short shifts & early hours worthwhile.
My morning routine takes 1.5-2 hours (you'll always be paid for 2). The schedule is flexible. The only constraint is that I don't go two days in a row without doing the routine.
During the week, I need to start the routine at 5am to get to work on time. On the weekends I'm flexible, usually 8 or 9am start time.
So, the ideal schedule is Tue/Thur/Sat/Sun, so we only have two super early days each week. But, like I said, I'll work with you as needed.
My start-date deadline is December 7. If you can start sooner, it would be good to do so & shadow my current caregiver a few times.
If you are interested in this role, but aren't able to cover the whole week, or can't start until a little after Dec 7th, still reach out. My goal is for one person to cover the week, but if that doesn't work I'll fall back on a split schedule w/ more than one caregiver.
I live in an apartment complex near where I-88 and route 59 intersect, in Warrenville.
Contact me soon! I'd like to chat on the phone first, to go over details & questions, and then meet once in person (if possible) before making a decision.
