Last week I was a guest of Cox Communications at the East County Chamber's 19th annual Women In Leadership Luncheon at Viejas Casino & Resort. It was a perfect afternoon of networking and getting to know one of Cox's newer team members, Allen Young, their Manager of Government Affairs. He was a gracious host and wonderful company as we were privileged to sit among friends as we heard the tale of Rose Schindler's life. Rose is an author, educator, and Holocaust Survivor who exemplified the theme of the event to a tee: Courage.
