SAN MATEO, CA — A delivery truck flipped over the center divide on the westbound direction of the San Mateo Bridge on Monday afternoon, blocking two lanes and backing up traffic in the eastbound direction, according to preliminary reports from the California Highway Patrol. The truck, traveling westbound, struck the center divide around 2:30 p.m. and was stuck on top of the divider. #SanMateoBridge - A box truck flipped over the center divide westbound past the toll plaza. CHP issued a SigAlert at 3:50 p.m. for westbound Highway 92. Fuel from the truck was pooling onto the road, CHP reported. The Hayward Fire Department was called to clean up the hazardous materials after 4 p.m. The lanes were reopened after 5:30 p.m. CHP said nobody was injured in the incident.
