This service will be available through Thursday, Nov. 18. Calls to the Nurse on Call Line are free of charge, and though specific medical advice will not be provided for individual children, they can answer questions and concerns about the vaccine and connect families with primary and specialty care providers, if necessary. Answers to some of the most common questions the call line has received are online. Read more Representatives with a local developer and an engineering firm presented a proposal to the Missoula County commissioners Monday afternoon that could facilitate housing and mixed-use development where the County-owned Larchmont Golf Course currently sits. The commission has not made any decisions on the proposal and did not take formal action at the meeting. Any formal decision will be preceded by a public comment period. Read more Watch the meeting The Missoula County commissioners are seeking nominees to serve on the Flathead Reservation Water Management Board. The board, recently established with the signing of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes – Montana Compact, will administer and manage all aspects of water use within the Flathead Reservation. The commissioners of each county whose boundaries include any portion of the Flathead Reservation will nominate individuals for Gov. Greg Gianforte's consideration for appointment to the board. Missoula County commissioners are allowed to submit two nominees for the governor's consideration. He talks through the difficult elements impacting housing in Missoula County, like why Missoula County has a shortage of about 2,400 housing units, with home prices rising much faster than incomes. Jordan explains how the market will not fill in the gap in the housing units Missoula County needs in the short-term, but that the plan sets a course for sustainable growth in our housing supply and prioritizes the members of our community who have been shut out of housing they can afford.
