Libertyville Police Seek Tips In Car Burglaries

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Police Department is asking for the public's help as they investigate a recent string of burglaries to motor vehicles. Police say three vehicles were burglarized at some point on the night of Nov. 6 or during the morning hours of Nov. 7, according to a Libertyville Police Department report. Sign up for Libertyville Patch newsletters and breaking news updates The culprit, or culprits, took a wallet from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of North Butterfield Road, a purse and backpack from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of North Butterfield Road and a purse from an unlocked vehicle in the 1600 block of Old Barn Circle. All vehicles were parked in driveways at the time of the incidents, police say. Anyone with information regarding the burglaries is asked to call the Libertyville Police Department at 847-362-8310.
