BURNSVILLE, MN — ISD 191 is looking to hire due to the labor shortage, according to a report by Sun Thisweek.
Superintendent Theresa Battle asked for applicants during the Nov. 11 school board meeting, saying the district could hire 14 teachers, 13 educational assistants, a dean and psychologist, six food service workers and other clerical, custodial and Community Education positions, the report said.
"It is not unusual to have a few open positions all year round, but this is more than usual by quite a few," Battle said, according to the report.
More information on open positions can be viewed here.
